Our Story

Our story began with a simple handmade gift.

Emerald, an art college graduate with a passion for creating, started making chopstick cases for her nieces and nephew just for fun. Before long, friends and family began asking for their own, and what started as a creative pastime grew into a hobby and eventually a passion project. By the early 2000s, we began making a few appearances at local Anime Conventions and Cultural Festivals.

Over the years our collection has grown and changed with the input of our repeat customers. What began with a few handmade items has expanded to include a thoughtfully curated mix of handcrafted and resale goods. Today, we offer a variety of unique items, including handmade chopstick cases, chopsticks and chopstick accessories, hair sticks, bookmarks, picky pads, and many other fun and practical finds.

The business is now proudly operated by Ruby while remaining family-run at its heart and our focus has stayed the same: offering quality items at a price point available to everyone with creative and practical products.
